Before bed snacks – 14/06

Three 250ml cups of hot Robinsons no added sugar apple and blackcurrant squash 15 calories

Total = 439 calories

This is way more calories than I usually eat in snacks after tea but I had a really low calorie tea so the microwaved pear made up for this, and then I just couldn’t say no to the curly wurly… I needed a chocolate fix!!

Not a usual tea but I love muesli and this always satisfies!

One pear, peeled and cored (160g weight after doing this) 74 calories topped with 30g of Aldi Sweetvine Californian raisins 88 calories and 10g of Tesco Value pure clear honey 33 calories. Microwaved for three minutes, stirring halfway through, then topped with 15g of Aldi The Pantry walnut halves 105 calories, finely chopped, and 50g of Lidl Eridanous low fat 2% Greek yogurt 30 calories

250ml cup of hot Robinsons no added sugar apple and blackcurrant squash 5 calories

Total = 335 calories

This is such a high calorie dessert but it has so much stuff in which is so much better for you than chocolate and it is mega delicious. I love it!

Dessert – 31/05

Baked apple in the microwave (based on this recipe from Elena the Epicurian’s blog – http://www.elenatheepicurean.com/baked-apple-in-the-microwave/) – one Braeburn apple 71 calories, thinly sliced, mixed with 30g of Aldi Sweetvine Californian raisins 88 calories, one teaspoon of sugar 15 calories, one teaspoon of almond extract 0 calories, one tablespoon of lemon juice 4 calories and a teaspoon of cinnamon 6 calories. Covered with an upside down plate and microwaved for 3 minutes, stirred then microwaved for a further minute. Left to stand for a minute and then topped with 10g of Aldi The Pantry walnut halves 70 calories, chopped, and 10g of Tesco Value clear honey 33 calories

250ml cup of Robinsons no added sugar apple and blackcurrant 5 calories

Total = 292 calories

Might be quite high calorie but what a delicious and nutritious way to finish the day. Much better for me than chocolate or cake!

Cover and microwave for three minutes then topped with 10g of Aldi The Pantry walnut halves 70 calories, chopped, and 50g of Lidl Eridanous low fat 2% Greek yogurt 30 calories

250ml cup of Robinsons no added sugar apple and blackcurrant squash 5 calories

Total = 243 calories

This was so delicious. I will definitely be having it again. I have a massive sweet tooth and the more sweet things I can have with fruit rather than chocolate, the better. Delicious!
